/ˈdʒɛt strim/ (say 'jet streem)

1. Meteorology a horizontal cone of air, at altitudes of between about 4575 m and 12 200 m, extending for great distances along the track of a wind and moving at very high speeds.
2. Aeronautics the exhaust of a jet engine or a rocket engine.
